When the eSIMs couldn't connect I was in Indonesia, I contacted Airalo. They were quick to respond. But after checking all the settings and IDDIC, they said that the eSIMs were for Vietnam, not Indonesia. Their email and from Pelago confirmed that I purchased eSIMs for Indonesia. Airalo said in their latest email to "ignore the email saying its for Indonesia". Unacceptable!
I bought the SIM Card intended for next day use. I received the confirmation from Pelago shortly but received the Airalo QR code at 7.02pm the next day and caused inconvenience during the day. The issue was resolved after online chat and 2-3 messages to Pelago. If these things take time, appreciate much if the service provider does not over-promise and indicate for people to select 2 days in advance. This would have been much better for travellers who require something much faster and fuss-free.
It shows full reception but I couldn’t even text my friends, my phone said no internet, I was there 5 days and didn’t work at all!
