A unique experience starting with naked-eye astronomy on Nelsons beach with wave sounds. An opportunity to check if we can see any bioluminescence (glowing waters!) in the sea!
The guide, Dimitri is an Astrophysicist PhD with 10+ years experience including Sydney Observatory, Mt John Observatory, the world-renowned astronomical observatory in Lake Tekapo (New Zealand) and Emirates One & Only Wolgan Valley. He is also a TEDx speaker and a cultural astronomer.

Join us on a fascinating cosmic journey in the dark skies of Jervis Bay. This out-of-this-world experience features Australia’s most clearest sky away from the city lights. We'll start with a laser-guided naked-eye astronomy session led by our astrophysicist with sensational ocean sunset views and wave sound on the beach, including tips and hacks on how to identify stars and constellations, navigations tips alongside constellation storytelling. We will then observe through the state-of-the -art telescope celestial objects such as (depending on the time of year and night): - The Moon - Planets - The Orion Nebula - Star clusters - Deep sky objects - the Milky Way We will end the tour with a Q&A with our astrophysicist. Look up for shooting stars!
